2017 Range Rover Evoque Review, Mpg, Price

A new refreshed release is coming from Land Rover. The car in question is new 2017 Range Rover Evoque. Produced by English car producer, this luxurious compact crossover was first time release on the market back in 2011 as a 2012 year model. However, a few years have passed since then and it is now time for this car to get its mid-cycle refreshment needed for this car to keep good position on the market. Due to the fact that this is mid-cycle refreshment, changes won’t be just the usual small details that will be changed. Instead, we will see a bit more improvements on both exterior and the interior part of the car.

This model will come with a few new features that will definitely be interesting for the potential buyers and we will explain them more in the text. The biggest change will be easily visible – this car will get a version with a longer wheelbase than the one its predecessor had. This car is one of their most sold cars on US, but not just there, but also on worldwide markets and they have put up a lot of work into its redesign to make it even better.

Powertrain for this 2017 Evoque will be almost the same as the one the previous Evoque had. That means that inside of this car we will be able to see both petrol and diesel engines. However, diesel engines are not yet confirmed for US market. The difference might be the addition of 2.0 liter turbo diesel engine that will have two different setups. First one will be able to produce about 150 horsepower and it will come paired with a 6 speed automatic shifter. The other one will be able to produce around 270 horsepower and it will be paired with a 9 speed automatic shifter.

The new 2016 Range Rover Evoque will have excellent fuel economy. This model will have more types of engine, but consumption will be approximately the same at all. The new Evoque will have a fuel consumption of 21 mpg in the city. Consumption on the highway will be 30 mpg. Such a big difference confirms that this vehicle was primarily designed for the long journeys, because then tend to spend less fuel.

So as we already said, this 2017 Evoque will come with a longer wheelbase and because of this it will have an extra word in its name and it will be Evoque Plus. Design will be similar to the one previous model had. This Evoque Plus will have adjustable suspension for better handling both on and off road. Interior of Evoque Plus model car will also be similar to the base Evoque but it will provide more room and it will be more comfortable. This car will not bring any major changes tech vise; it will still feature the same technology the Evoque has.

Traction Control System (TCS), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Roll Stability Control (RSC), Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) and many other.

The exact time this car will be released is unknown, but it is going to be somewhere towards the second half of 2016. The price set for Evoque will be around $50,000 for base version while the Evoque Plus is going to have a bit higher price that is not yet known.
